What exactly do you guys do?
Kinu Cafe is a cosplay café with a host club style tied into it. The servers are dressed up as maids and butlers. Guests are able to select their server and will be entertained for a 30 - 45 minute session. Games and activities are available for everyone to enjoy. Depending on the venue, we will have food and drink available for purchase. Usually, in the middle of the afternoon, some of our cafe members will go on stage and do several dance performances for everyone at the venue.
Maids and butlers? Sounds sexy.
Our uniforms are very modest. We keep our conversations and performances PG. Our clientele are usually young teens to adults. Even though we keep a fun atmosphere, we do not tolerate any kind of harassment towards both guests and cafe staff members.
We are on a constant lookout for fresh faces to join us! You must be 18+ to apply. Qualities we check for are: charisma, sociability, friendliness, reliability, and an upbeat attitude. Individuals can apply to be a performer or a server or just an official volunteer! You can apply on the CONTACT tab of the site. Be sure to check the due dates on our hiring sessions!
I was rejected. Why? Can I reapply?
We receive many applications for being a maid so it is very competitive and difficult for us to select which applicants can be official staff members. If you were not chosen it is because we try to choose the friendliest, most upbeat, and overall charismatic individual out of the potential candidates. During hiring sessions, we usually select one butler and one maid out of all the applicants. If you were not selected during that round, please feel free to reapply!
My reservation was a special request. Why is it taking so long?
Our receptionist will be in charge of taking reservations at the door before entry. If you make a special request for a particular maid or butler it will be noted. However, if there were others before you that have specially requested the very same server, it will take time before they get to you since sessions last from 30 - 45 minute time frames.​
I'm a long time fan, what else is there?
Thank you so much for the continuous support! We have been working to provide small pieces of merchandise for our growing fan base. Right now we have: pins, stickers, and signed polaroids. When you come by the cafe drop a suggestion in our staff mailboxes so we can work on more material for you guys!
